I have a clinical role in seeing patients with minor illnesses and with long-term conditions. I manage results for blood tests and investigations. I am able to prescribe medication for patients that I see. I have a special interest in Women’s health. I have a clinic every week at Blaydon for our 4 practices where I fit Long-acting Reversible contraception (Larc) such as Implants and Intra-Uterine Devices (coils). I have always worked in the NHS and have worked in Primary Care for most of my career starting as a Practice Nurse and then passing my Nurse Practitioner degree in 2007. I have also worked in an integrated Sexual Health Service for 6 Years.
