Introduction I am a qualified Nurse with additional training to assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. I am able to assess and prescribe for minor illnesses, chronic disease management, women’s health, and general health advice. I joined the practice in 2007 and work part-time.
Introduction I work at both Blaydon and Grange Road surgeries and am the Nurse Lead for the Nurse team who works at both these and Rowlands Gill and Crawcrook.
Introduction My role is to provide care and treatment to patients with minor illnesses and injuries and manage long-term health conditions that are evidence-based in a caring professional way. I came to work at Grange Road in May 2021, having previously worked at A&E and with the Gateshead rapid response team.
Introduction I work under the supervision of the Practice Nurse team to perform specific clinical procedures, such as blood press checks or taking samples, new patient checks, sterilising equipment, and recording height and weight measurements.
Introduction Practice Nurses provide many services to patients. I’ll dress wounds, take blood samples, give vaccinations and carry out health checks and reviews with patients with long-term conditions.
