Dr Carolyn Paes (f)

BM BCh, MA Hons DRCOG, DFFP, MRCGP

Carolyn Paes graduated from Oxford University in 1997 and subsequently worked in hospital medicine in the North East. Carolyn completed her GP training in 2005 and joined Fenham Hall Medical Group as a partner in 2007. Carolyn is involved with the teaching of medical students and is interested in cancer medicine.

Dr Jiri Dolezal (m)

MBBS, MRCP, MRCGP (Merit)

Jiri Dolezal graduated from Charles University in Prague in 1995 and worked in Oncology in Prague until 2000 when he moved to the UK and worked in the North East as a Hospital Physician. Jiri completed his GP training in 2008 and joined Fenham Hall Medical Group as a partner in 2010. Jiri enjoys helping with the teaching of medical students and is interested in Occupational Health and is developing his minor surgery skills.

Dr Catherine McTernan (f)

MBBS, MRCGP, PGCGPE, DCH, DFSRH, DCH, DRCOG.

Dr McTernan joined the practice in 2019 having previously worked as a GP and GP Trainer in Stockton on Tees and Easington. She is the practice lead for teaching medical students, prescribing and women’s health, as well as leading the nursing team. Dr McTernan’s working days are Monday, Thursday and Friday.

Dr Helen Davies (f)

Dr Davies joined the practice in July 2016 as a Salaried GP.helendavies

Dr Davies works on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.

Dr Antonia Charlton (f)
Dr Kathy Greenough (f)

Dr Greenough is an experienced GP with a special interest in mental health and paediatrics. She graduated from Newcastle Medical School in 1990 and has worked throughout the region, from country practices to inner-city.
